Chrome Extension

Introduced in v2.1 and refined in v2.2, the Chrome Extension is what elevates Haviland from "a great AI chat app" to something ambient. With it installed, Haviland follows you across every tab and window.

Chrome is required for the extension. The web app itself works in any modern browser with no download.

Sidebar Panel

A persistent sidebar you can open on any website. Chat with Haviland while you read or work on any page — and Haviland can read and analyze the current page's content directly from the sidebar.

Global Command Bar

Trigger a Spotlight-style command bar from any tab or page with Ctrl+Shift+H. Get instant access to Haviland with streaming AI responses, without navigating away from the page you're on.

Selection Actions

Highlight any text on any webpage to reveal a context menu with options to Summarize, Explain, or Translate the selection. Haviland processes it and returns results immediately.

Picture-in-Picture

Pop Haviland out into a floating window that stays on top of all other windows and applications — continuous access while you work in other apps.
